In February 2021, Officer Morris took over as the Region 4 Director with the Florida Association of School Resource Officers. Although her primary responsibility is the safety of everyone on campus, she also focus on connecting with students, parents and staff to foster a positive relationship with law enforcement. For the past 4 years she has been working as a School Resource Officer at Thacker Avenue Elementary School for International Studies where she is also one of the Track and Field coaches. In 2007, Officer Morris achieved the position of detective where she spent 7 years investigating criminal cases in both the Property Crimes and Major Crimes units. In 2004, she was hired by the Kissimmee Police Department as a patrol officer and soon became a Field Training Officer, where she had the opportunity to train and mentor over 20 new officers.
